Divinely Designed to Take Up Space
Somewhere along the way, I started believing that taking up space was a problem. I silenced my voice so others could feel heard. I minimized my achievements so others wouldn’t feel threatened. I softened my shine so no one would accuse me of being “too much.” But the truth is, I was never meant to shrink. I was divinely designed to take up space . I serve a big God who creates on purpose and with purpose. God did not make me bold, gifted, and visionary so I could live life in the background. 2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us: “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” The fear that told me to stay small didn’t come from God. That was the enemy’s attempt to silence the impact of my assignment. God gave me power, love, and a sound mind.
